Yeah, that’s exactly what you’ve read: surfing lessons in Switzerland! Swiss Sports Travel takes care of booking surfing lessons and equipment rental and provides safe and comfortable round-trip transportation. 

With a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps, Alaïa Bay Surfing Pool is located in a green setting ideal for a family day out. At the foot of the largest European ski resorts, such as Crans-Montana, Verbier, Zermatt, or Chamonix. Alaïa Bay offers an exceptional natural setting.

We’ll pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to the venue in comfort and safety. It takes around 1h40 from Geneva and one hour from Lausanne. Upon arrival, you’ll have enough time to collect the equipment and prepare for your surfing lesson.

All guests must be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water. Be aware of your fitness conditions.

What You’ll learn

From 8 years old, it’s the perfect introduction to surfing. Alaïa Bay expert coaches will teach you all the basic skills and techniques in a group lesson to make it easier for you to start your surfing journey.

You’ll practice paddling and how to take-off. Stand up, ride in a straight line and fall safely. Catch a wave with our help and then on your own. It includes all the equipment, the instructions with a dry training, and finally, 55 minutes of waves!

At the end of the session, your coach will debrief you before you return your equipment.

Cancellation policy: 50% refundable for cancellation up to 48 hours before session date/time, and 50% non-refundable. 

Cancellation & Assistance Insurance (optional): CHF 7.50

Europ Assistance offers a cancellation and accident insurance solution. Reimbursement in the event of cancellation, e.g., in the event of accident or illness (up to CHF 2,500), and coverage of the costs of ambulance/helicopter transport, repatriation, and emergency treatment (up to CHF 10,000). Please read the insurance conditions before your purchase.

Booking your Surfing Lesson in Switzerland

For booking, choose the day of preference. Then, insert your name, contact details, the number of surfers, and pick-up location. You can combine it with different surfing session levels at the Alaïa Bay surfing pool within the same group. We’ll do our best to accommodate the schedule. Please let us also know if there is any non-surfer. Finally, confirm your booking. 

We’ll contact you shortly after to inform you of the options according to Alaia Bay’s availability. As soon as the lesson and pick-up time are aligned and confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice for payment.
