About The Mountain Biking Tour
MONVTT outings are supervised by qualified guides (MTB Swiss Cycling or J+S instructor). They adapt the excursions to the level of the participants.
Besides, they can offer all mountain biking disciplines, such as cross country and enduro. Just let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll organize it for you.
The minimum number is two (2) participants. There is no mountain biking tour in the Jura mountains on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Swiss Sports Travel offers this exciting half-day tour (4 hs) in partnership with Frogs Rafting. We will drive you around one hour from Geneva to the meeting point on the river, where you’ll be fully kitted out for your time on the river.
Before the trip, Frogs Rafting will provide you with helmets, full wetsuits (no worries about being cold), boots, life jackets, and given a paddle. When you arrive at the take-off point, you will be given a safety briefing explaining the river and good practices while you’re on it.
After your briefing, we will take you to the take-off spot (it varies depending on the water level and rafting level chosen).
With a maximum of 8 people in the boat, your bi-lingual guide will be with you during your descent. He will take you down rapids and through gorges, pointing out any wildlife on the way and suggesting novel ways to go down the river.
At the end of your ride on the river, we’ll take you back to your vehicle. We advise everyone to bring a towel and bathing costume with them.

1st timers
This option is ideal for those who want to get a feel for rafting without committing to the whole trip! It starts just below the start of the Classic trip, missing out on one rapid that can make people anxious. There’s plenty of time to get used to the equipment and have a swim so that you can feel the water. It’s a fabulous introduction for anyone uneasy in water but keen to push themselves! Also, it’s a good choice for families with kids.

Classic Trip
The Classic Trip is an excellent option for families with kids looking for a bit of adventure. After a quick briefing about safety procedures and paddling techniques, you start playing on the river. The trip goes through big rocks, characteristic of the River Dranse, creating a unique ambiance. You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself in the river by playing and swimming in the many currents and jumping from the rocks if you wish.

In-between Trip
For people who feel more adventurous and confident. Looking for a thrill, but not quite up for the Pro just yet! It’s a bit longer ride, having more time to enjoy the river. We start slightly above the Classic starting point but below the Pissette Rapid. It allows participants to enjoy some grade iv obstacles without doing the big rapid.

Pro Trip
Adrenaline! That’s what you’re looking for. Maximize your time on the river: more swimming, more (and higher) jumps, and bigger rapids! The Pro Trip starts as far up the river as possible. You’ll experience the upper Dranse: cliffs and narrow passes. The first part is a scenic warm-up for the second part! We’ll have a short drive to avoid the un-navigable part of the higher Dranse. We’ll get back in the river just above the grade IV rapid called La Pissette. It’ll be the first rapid on the second half of the trip, and the whole crew must be working together. After the crazy rocks, we come to the start of the In-between Trip and continue downriver and back to the base.

What You’ll learn
From 8 years old, it’s the perfect introduction to surfing. Alaïa Bay expert coaches will teach you all the basic skills and techniques in a group lesson to make it easier for you to start your surfing journey.
You’ll practice paddling and how to take-off. Stand up, ride in a straight line and fall safely. Catch a wave with our help and then on your own. It includes all the equipment, the instructions with a dry training, and finally, 55 minutes of waves!
At the end of the session, your coach will debrief you before you return your equipment.

Session Levels
Waikiki
This session is perfect for progression and mastering the basics. It has slightly larger waves than in the beginner course, and you need to be able to get up and catch waves by yourself. Only foam boards are allowed.
Malibu
You’ll experience more powerful waves than in Waikiki. Therefore, it is essential to master the take-off for this session. Perfect to practice generating speed and perfect your turns. Or just to have fun freely on the waves!
Intermediate
Slightly faster than the malibu Sessions, these waves are fun and perfect. The take-offs are steeper and need to be dealt with confidently. These waves are well suited for funboards, fishes, mid-lengths, and longboards.
Advanced
This session offers a range of waves with different profiles, ideal for all types of turns. It is aimed at experienced surfers who absolutely master take-off and turns and are at ease on more than one-meter waves.
Expert
A quick take-off on a higher and more powerful wave offers various steep sections for maneuvers. The first session with a series of small barrels at the end! It is also an already exciting session for all the bodyboarders.
