Surfing in the Swiss Alps

With a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps, Alaïa Bay Surfing Pool is located in a green setting ideal for a family day out. At the foot of the largest European ski resorts, such as Crans-Montana, Verbier, Zermatt, or Chamonix. Alaïa Bay offers an exceptional natural setting.

Enjoy this experience with Swiss Sports Travel. We take care of booking a surfing session according to your level and the equipment rental. Besides, we provide safe and comfortable round-trip transportation. 

We’ll pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to the venue in comfort and safety. It takes around 1h40 from Geneva and one hour from Lausanne. Upon arrival, you’ll have enough time to collect the equipment and prepare for your session.

All guests must be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water. Be aware of your fitness conditions.

Session Levels

Waikiki

This session is perfect for progression and mastering the basics. It has slightly larger waves than in the beginner course, and you need to be able to get up and catch waves by yourself. Only foam boards are allowed.

Malibu

You’ll experience more powerful waves than in Waikiki. Therefore, it is essential to master the take-off for this session. Perfect to practice generating speed and perfect your turns. Or just to have fun freely on the waves!

Intermediate

Slightly faster than the malibu Sessions, these waves are fun and perfect. The take-offs are steeper and need to be dealt with confidently. These waves are well suited for funboards, fishes, mid-lengths, and longboards.

Advanced

This session offers a range of waves with different profiles, ideal for all types of turns. It is aimed at experienced surfers who absolutely master take-off and turns and are at ease on more than one-meter waves.

Expert

A quick take-off on a higher and more powerful wave offers various steep sections for maneuvers. The first session with a series of small barrels at the end! It is also an already exciting session for all the bodyboarders.

Cancellation policy: 50% refundable for cancellation up to 48 hours before session date/time, and 50% non-refundable. 

Cancellation & Assistance Insurance (optional): CHF 7.50

Europ Assistance offers a cancellation and accident insurance solution. Reimbursement in the event of cancellation, e.g., in the event of accident or illness (up to CHF 2,500), and coverage of the costs of ambulance/helicopter transport, repatriation, and emergency treatment (up to CHF 10,000). Please read the insurance conditions before your purchase.

Booking your Alaïa Bay Surfing Session

For booking, choose the day of preference. Then, insert your name, contact details, the number of surfers, the session level, and pick-up location. You can pick different session levels within the same group. We’ll do our best to accommodate the schedule. Please let us also know if there is any non-surfer. Finally, confirm your booking. 

We’ll contact you shortly after to inform you of the options according to the session chosen and Alaia Bay’s availability. As soon as the session and pick-up time are aligned and confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice for payment.
